Preparing to take an exam from 8 to 3. This exam is longer than most people's school days. At least I got a ton of sleep before it...10 hours. This exam will not be fun. |

I'm really really pissed off right now, for a number of reasons. First off, I continue to hit well in baseball, but not get reward for it. Pauly says that the reason is that JV is for young players to get experience, not for people like me to have fun. I sincerely hope that that's a load of crap. If that was the case, why would they put me on JV baseball? What would my purpose be? Also, getting prepared for Varsity Baseball in highschool? Are we really that full of ourselves to say that we need to prepare to play Varsity? Secondly, and far more importantly, I lost the election for student council secretary. For once, I actually thought I was gonna win. I think I lost some votes from my grade to Torres, and him telling me now that he decided that he didn't want the responsibility makes me extraordinarily angry. If he had not run, or had dropped out, I would have gotten more votes. I really want to know how much I lost by, because I heard a lot of people say that they thought I would win. On this note, let me update my record for student council elections.

Yes you heard me right, oh my god what the fuck bar-b-que. That's my mood. This really hasn't been my week. The best news I have is that I managed to get myself an icon, and I think it's really cool. It is this french guillotine statue/figurine my grandmother got me about 5 years ago when she went to France. I really should make a GIF of it in action, because it actually goes up and down. That's the good, here comes the bad...
I have to take the SATs this weekend, and when I say weekend, I don't mean Saturday. They changed the rules so now I have to come in for 4 hours a day on both Saturday and Sunday. This also means I'm forced to use all of my extended time, and I can finish most of the math sections in half time. This gives me even more time to enjoy the lovely company of Ms. Genero in the library. I know I shouldn't be complaining that i get more time, but it's time that I would much prefer to spend doing other things. Though it is in my best interest to use it, I still feel as though I can bitch about it. What's better yet, a good friend of mine just moved away. That part isn't a big deal, but the problem is that now she doesn't have internet access in her home. Conversation over the phone is not as good, and really not the same. To continue my bitchy rant, I keep waking up in the middle of the night because my brother can't figure out how to make himself a wallet out of duct tape. He's trying at like 2:30 in the fucking morning, and he refuses to do it in his room. So, for the past 2 days, I have gotten little sleep because I hear the sound of tape being ripped over and over at 2:30 AM. A little more than a week ago, I bought a new pair of headphones that are wireless. I basically bought them so that I could listen to music in my room when I'm doing work or chatting, or what-not. They actually have a mini transmitter inside of the headphones themselves, and a stand so that the headphones can communicate with my computer. Problem is, every once in a while, they pick up police radios. This sounds cool, but it's really really annoying. I can be listening to a good song, and right as they get to the chorus, I hear the police radio. What's worse, I don't even get the good police radio, I get the stupid traffic cops. You would be surprised how often police request backup for a guy parking next to a fucking hydrant. GIVE THE GUY A TICKET, AND LET ME GET BACK TO MY MUSIC GOD DAMN IT. These stupid police officers, driving around on a tricycle, or whatever that scooter thing is with three wheels, requesting for backup to give a guy a ticket. All this, added on to the usual nagging my mother dishes out, and this has been a pretty crappy week, and will continue to be a pretty crappy weekend.

If I really want something intangable, I never get it. If I really don't want something to happen, the chance of it happening is about 50/50. The more half assed I am about getting things, the more likely I am to get the things. This doesn't make sense. If my life so crappy that me trying to do something is actually making anti-progress? All I can say is what the fuck, and I really need to get an icon. Of course, with this knowledge, I will never get an icon. |

They finally listened to me. It took them like 6 years, but they finally gave me a Robotics course. Too bad they made it no experience required, and therefore, a useless class to me. Their explanation was that they could later make a more challenging course for the people who already took this one. To make things even better, word is the open source course (the other computer science course I want to take) as well as the Robotics one will meet at the same time as BC Calculus. They screwed me over again. Anyone want to help me blow up Packer? |
